About
Silda is a small scenic island located just east of Måløy. This car-free island is a paradise for those who want to enjoy the nature. In the past, many permanent residents lived here, but today there are mostly holiday homes and cottages on the island. Beautifully situated on the southern side of the island you will find Skjærbuda, previously used as salting works for herring. Skjærbuda has retained its historical character and occasionally serves as a social meeting point and restaurant.
