If you like solitary landscapes and unspoiled nature, this is the right excursion for you. Don’t forget your camera because the route is very scenic and will allow you to take some very impressive photos for your memory book. Leaving Måløy, you will enjoy a panoramic drive on Stadlandet to the West Cape, Norway’s westernmost viewpoint with mainland connection towering some 500 meters above the Atlantic. On clear days, the view in all directions is marvelous. You will see the dreaded waters of Stadhavet Ocean with the Sunnmøre Alps, the Hornelen Peak and Ålfot glacier in the background. Continue to Stad hotell and experience the exclusive taste of pategonian toothfish. Stad Hotel is one of very few places in Europe where pategonian toothfish is served. Returning to Måløy on a different road, along the coast for more fantastic scenery back towards the ship.
The transportation on this excursion is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. This guided tour and experience is not physically demanding. It consists mainly of a guided bus ride and photo stops. The photo stops may require you to disembark and board the bus. Please note: Limited amount of guides with other languages than english. If a guide is not availible in your language, this tour will be in English.
